Rock That Ausome gives support to all with disabilities, disorders or any other struggles that one may be facing. We design and make affordable sensory items & calming tools.  They can help with a multitude of diagnoses such as Autism, ADHD, depression, PTSD, Sensory Processing Disorder, anxiety, improving fine motor skills & more. They can help with rebuilding coordination after an injury/stroke, in redirecting a stim or meltdown, keeping fidgety hands busy or other sensory related issues. We are now only making weighted animals and fidget bags.

 

We also integrate music into our program with teaching new skills and allowing people to use music as an outlet.  All while finding ways to focus on the abilities one already owns and to help improve upon those as well. We believe more education is needed for inclusion and acceptance. We see a need for affordable assistive communication technologies.  One of our main goals is to raise money for and gift tablets, sensory tools & more to those in need.

 

We provide advocacy by attending court dates, IEP meetings and more.  While doing these we help the family to have a voice and encourage family centered planning.  Rock That Ausome also encourages and provides training for those who may need extra assistance.

 

Our newest program is called Operation Friendship.  We have seen a strong need in our community to build self-esteem, lasting friendships and community togetherness.  This program is established t0 help children to feel more accepted in their environment, and to allow adults in the community to help facilitate this.  We hope this program will decrease bullying and increase belief in others!
